Penguins Facing Elimination!!
Big game, all you can say is Big game today. Game six has been brewing since Pittsburgh won game 4 last Tuesday. In that game Penguins superstars Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin controlled the flow, they’re going to have to do that again to ensure them a trip back to Motown. Detroit leads the Stanley Cup series 3-2 and can hoist the cup tonight if they’re able to close out the Penguins in enemy territory. One thing is for sure, I don’t think the Pens want to watch the Red Wings celebrate on their home ice again. The same thing happened last year and the thought of having history repeat itself is too much for these players, so all of the Penguins will be fighting for their playoff lives. Moreover, Pittsburgh is coming off its worst performance of the playoffs, one in which every aspect of its game, most noticeably its composure, seemed to collapse at the same time.
The Penguins impressively feed off its home crowd and is 8-2 at the Mellon Arena in the postseason. It has the two most dangerous players in the playoffs and both will be itching to rebound from embarrassing individual performances in game 5. The Pens have shown the ability to recover from adversity this season, coming from 10th place in the standings just after the All-Star game to make the playoffs and more recently winning a game 7 on the road in the second round.
The Red Wings will have their hands full but their players can smell blood in the water. The Wings will throw everything at the Pens hoping to close the series out and repeat as Stanley Cup Champions.

For any chance of extending the series to a 7th game, goalie Marc-Andre Fleury has to be on top of his game. The Pittsburgh defense as well has to clear the goal mouth area as to frequently he has been screened and has been unable to pick up the puck on shots from the point.
One would think that after an uninspired game played in Detroit that the Penguins will come out with a vengeance at home, led by Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin. The idea for both teams tonight is not to take any stupid penalties as for sure they will come back to haunt you.
