So far no trades have materialized, as well, no free agents have yet been signed. They will be loosing sniper Dany Heatly who has asked the team to trade him, and yet at the same time is making a trade very difficult as he has already nixed a trade with Edmonton that had been all but finalized. With new coach Cory Clouston trying to put his way of play on the team which didn't show much towards the end of last season as well as a unhappy Heatly the coming season will be a difficult one for the Senators from Ottawa To date Ottawa has not yet improved their last year’s team at all.
